Fact of the Week

Did you know?

Individuals with Down syndrome (trisomy 21) have a significantly decreased risk of cancer (except leukemia). Apparantly, the tumor suppressing factor gene is found on the chromosome 21. With 3 copies instead of 2, more cancer fighting power. It's like they're super heroes.

Yeah, found the paper on the boston medical something or another childrens hospital website. They need super hero capes...
